Available now, the dLAN 200 AVdesk will retail for EUR 129.90 (individual adapter) and for EUR 229.90 (Starter Kit with two adapters).
“HomePlug AV is the new international standard for data communications via in-house powerlines and is capable of fast, smooth video streaming,” says Heiko Harbers, CEO of devolo AG. “Intellon's HomePlug AV based technology transforms in-house powerlines into the backbone for a home network, enabling Internet TV and video-on-demand to be used throughout the home without the need to add new cabling, and we find this is true value-add for our customers,” says Harbers.
“HomePlug AV has the bandwidth and robustness to deliver multiple streams of rich entertainment along with other digital traffic,” said Charlie Harris, chairman and CEO of Intellon. “This is why service providers and leading equipment manufacturers such as devolo are using Intellon's HomePlug ICs as the whole-house networking solution for multi-media entertainment and high definition IPTV rollouts.”
