Intellon Wins Intel Technology Innovation Acceleration Award in the Digital Home Category at the Intel Developer Forum

Intel Developer Forum, San Francisco, CA - September 28, 2006 - Sixteen demos in a total of six categories vied as finalists for Intel's Technology Innovation Acceleration (TIA)awards, which recognize technological pioneering and adoption of Intel's platform strategy. Intellon Corporation was named winner in the Digital Home Category.

Intellon showcased a technology demonstration featuring Digital Deck's home media entertainment software, which provides a whole-home media experience for networking DVRs, viewing DVDs, recorded programs, photos, and listening to music throughout the home. By using Intellon's HomePlug AV technology as the network backbone, this allows Digital Deck to easily connect users with their media via Intellon's No New Wires® solution.
