Intellon Names Brian McGee as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Experienced Financial Executive Joins World Leader in Powerline Communications Integrated Circuits

Ocala, Fla. - Intellon Corporation, the leading global provider of integrated circuits (ICs) for powerline communications, announced that Brian T. McGee has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer of the company.

McGee will oversee global financial operations for the rapidly growing semiconductor company. He will report to Charlie Harris, Intellon's chairman and chief executive officer.

McGee has more than 20 years experience in business and financial management, and was most recently vice president, finance and CFO of Lexar Media, Inc. prior to its acquisition by Micron Technology. Before joining Lexar, he held positions as vice president, finance and/or CFO of several other technology companies, including Equator Technologies, Inc., SmartAge.com and Academic Systems Corporation. Brian received his bachelor's of science degree in finance from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo. He also holds a certificate in management accounting.
