Enikia Appoints New CEO

Warren, NJ - March 22, 2001 - Enikia announced today the appointment of Mr. Kjell Andersson as President, CEO and Chairman of the Board of the powerline home networking company. Andersson joins Enikia from Omnipoint Technologies where as President and CEO, he provided the vision and direction for the company and its employees in the development of advanced wireless technologies.

“Enikia is uniquely positioned to attain a significant role in the powerline networking industry,” said Andersson. “I'm proud and excited to lead this vibrant company in such an exploding market segment of the networking industry.”

Prior to Omnipoint Technologies, Andersson spent 16 years at Ericsson in Stockholm, most recently as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Ericsson Radio Systems AB, head of business unit GSM, NMT and TACS. In this position, Mr. Andersson was responsible for global sales and marketing, product development, production, and supply and distribution, involving operations of 70 subsidiaries in 60 countries, with 20,000 employees and $5 Billion in annual sales. Andersson holds a Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and an MBA from CEDEP, Fontainebleau, France.

“Kjell brings an impressive track record of execution and team building to Enikia,” said Bob Dillon. “Enikia is poised to achieve significant successes and Kjell's addition to the management team will secure the company's objectives.”

Andersson replaces Dillon in the chief executive role. Dillon will remain with the company as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development, responsible for alliances and strategic marketing.
