New York (March 14, 2002) - Ambient Corporation (OTC BB:ABTG), a leading provider of Power Line Communications (PLC) technology, announced today the completion of its Home Gateway and Router components.

The Gateway (GW) Node is the termination point of the PLC communications network, ending at the customer's premises. The Gateway (GW) provides both a PLC interface to the low voltage line, as well as standard network interfaces, such as Ethernet, to which the customer's equipment can be connected.
The Router is deployed along the medium and low voltage powerlines and transports the PLC communications signals between the substation and the customer's premises.
